Good but has some flaws, January 5, 2011 By This review is from: Lilliput 7" Um-70 Mini Usb Monitor(non-touch Screen) (Electronics) I bought this on a lark when I discovered such things as mini 7 inch USB monitors existed on ThinkGeek. I currently use it as my third monitor at work so I can look at my incoming e-mails in real-time while I code. The build quality is quite good and the thing works (and draws the inevitable "what IS that?" comment)... but I have some issues:
1) If I let Windows 7 turn off my displays after X minutes away from the computer, turning them back on doesn't work: 2 of the monitors (a DELL and the Lilliput in landscape mode) will be black, and the third (a Samsung in portrait mode) will be blinking on-off at second intervals. Manually turning off all monitors then bringing them back restores it all. Seems like a bad driver interaction with Win7 (and I do have the latest drivers). May also be due to me having inconsistent primary display settings when I last had this issue, see (2).

Great little screen, January 5, 2010 By Thomas (Riverside, CA) - See all my reviews This review is from: Lilliput 7" Um-70 Mini Usb Monitor(non-touch Screen) (Electronics) I was pleasantly surprised by this 7" LCD. The viewing angle is much better than expected and the build quality on mine feels solid. I have noticed no dead pixels and the pixel density is far better than I expected. I use mine to watch videos while I'm working. Works great for both videos and things like chat/IM.
There is no menu of any kind, the up/down buttons adjust the brightness in 7 steps. I use mine on the second to the dimmest setting (at this setting it matches my primary 22" LCD in luminance), so it can get pretty bright.
I'm using Windows 7 64-bit and have been using this LCD daily for about a month.
If you need a little bit of extra screen space without taking up too much desk space, this will be A+

Works well in OSX, February 19, 2010 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Lilliput 7" Um-70 Mini Usb Monitor(non-touch Screen) (Electronics) Bought this as a second monitor to keep an eye on some security cams I have in my house. The usb connection is easy and it worked using only 1 usb port and not the two on the included cable. However, I have it connected on a powered hub, so that may be why.
I use this with OSX 10.5.8 and out of the box I couldn't find any drivers. After googling a bit there are OSX drivers at [...]. So keep that in mind if you want to use this with the Mac OS.
